Hi! I'm an SLP who created Let's Talk Speech Therapy as a place to share practical resources, therapy ideas, and honest reflections with fellow speech-language pathologists. Whether you're a seasoned clinician, a new grad, or a student intern, I hope you'll find something here that makes your work a little easier — and a lot more fun.

School-Based Therapy

I've worked in school settings with a diverse caseload — including students with moderate cognitive disabilities — focusing on functional communication, phonemic awareness, and personal safety skills that carry over beyond the therapy room.

In-Home ABA Therapy

My experience also includes providing in-home ABA-based therapy, collaborating closely with families to build communication skills in natural, everyday routines.

Clinical Supervision

I've supervised SLP student interns and written about getting started with clinical supervision — from setting expectations to building a supportive mentorship relationship.

Professional Development

I've attended and blogged about ASHA conventions, and I offer speaking and PD services for schools, clinics, and SLP groups. Check out the Speaking page for more.

What you'll find on the blog

Practical posts on topics like teaching phone numbers for safety, phoneme segmentation screeners, book recommendations for early language development, parent communication strategies, and tips for navigating ASHA conventions. I also share free printable resources — and you can find more materials in the Teachers Pay Teachers shop.
